Who is a Personal Trainer?

Exercising and engaging in physical activities contribute immensely to the healthy living of an individual. Today, the training discussion has gained much relevance, and many have cultivated the habit of training and enjoying the act. Furthermore, athletes and other sporty individuals engage in personal training periodically to ensure the body is fit and to shed off excess fat. 

A personal trainer is an individual who has studied and has an understanding of the various techniques and methods of directing and teaching other exercise programs. A well-experienced personal trainer should have specific qualifications before getting certified. Some of the certifying bodies in Europe are:

American Council of Exercise (ACE)

European Register of Exercise Professionals (EREPS)

European Register of Exercise Professionals is an organization that holds the well-detailed record of various professionals in the personal training sector. It was launched in 2007.
