Why we coach

What motivates you?

Is it to look good? To help you with everyday tasks like moving furniture or playing with the kids? Is it to become strong or to relive the glory days? Whatever your “why” is, you need to remember it, hold onto it, and keep it sacred. When the training gets hard, when you’re not feeling well, when life obligations take precedent, you need to remember your why.

One of the best parts about our roles as strength + conditioning coaches is that it gives us the opportunity to teach people that anything is possible with consistent hard work and effort. In the gym, as well as in life, hard work and effort is rewarded with results. From a basic training environment to the most advanced – it should not be pretentious, intimidating, and should never deter the average person. Phones off, music turned up, hard work being done.

Our job is simple. Create an environment that fosters learning, patience, being fundamentally sound, and above all, accountable. When people know that their coach is accountable, and they are held accountable as well, trust is built and that becomes the catalyst for a successful program.

That is our “why” as coaches here at Varsity House. We created the 6 Week Transformation Challenge, to ensure a no B.S approach in improving your mind, body, and life. Our training programs are structured to guarantee you results without letting people bite off more than they can chew – at least when they first get started. Along the way, we’ll change the “standard,” expectations will change and in the end, results will be had.

Success begins and ends with a solid foundation for the individual to be a strong-minded person! Mental fortitude and a positive environment are key to long term training success

THE MIND IS PRIMARY!
