Every year Varsity House Gym supports a local charity to assist families in need with the goal of making their holiday season a bit more enjoyable, This year we’ll be supporting a foundation that hits close to home – The Valley NICU Family Support Group.
The Goodman family welcomed their son, Chase Matthew, into the world on April 28th ten weeks early at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Chase spent the first 63 days of his life in the NICU at Valley Hospital receiving the utmost care and love from his doctors, nurses, specialists, technicians, and the NICU Family Support Group.
The NICU is not someplace new parents envision themselves and the NICU Family Support Group helps provide education & comfort to patients and families during and beyond their stay in the NICU.
Proceeds from this event for the NICU will support programs and initiatives for the NICU’s smallest patients and their families. Last year we raised $8,000 – providing delicious take-home family style meals to the patients families. Let’s rally together to surpass last year’s success and make an impact for families in need.
